Kendra Walker is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois and Missouri. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work. Kendra is an EMDR trained therapist; she is also trained in CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy. She approaches all clients with a strength-based and trauma-informed perspective.
Kendra has experience working with children and adolescents to address behavioral and emotional concerns by exploring the underlying issues and helping them develop the necessary skills to cope and thrive. She has experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, and many more. Some of her other specialties include those dealing with suicidal ideations, grief and loss, and anger.
The therapeutic process challenges the client to learn, grow, and create a life worth living. Kendra always provides unconditional positive regard to her clients which helps build a genuine alliance that provides the space to instill hope and empower children to achieve their goals.
